Cross country's Nick Grudev and field hockey's Beth Meyers are the October recipients of the Leo Dufort Siena College Student Athlete of the Month Award. Both student athletes played key parts on improving programs, while excelling in the classroom.

Siena Cross Country competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx Friday. The men's team finished tied for 31st with Hartford and the women were 34th in the 37-team field.
